Who am I?

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Katherine Avery has been influenced by the creative industry of the city from a young age. It is no surprise that Avery, imaginative as a child and enthralled by the whimsy of her childhood interests such as fashion, fantasy and sci-fi, has found herself immersed in creative entrepreneurship as an adult.

A recent graduate of Georgia State University, Avery holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations. At the University, she developed creative skills, not only in investigative and creative writing, but in marketing, advertising and building brands. She has grown adept in developing brand campaigns through the mediums of press releases, advertising, social media, and rebranding, with a concentration in making brands palatable and appealing to millennials. She also holds award-winning work through a course in graphic design.

Katherine has taken charge of PR campaigns for long-established brands such as Goodwill, where she spearheaded a rebranding campaign for the company. She also created content for a fashion blog and campaign for CareLoft ATL, a nonprofit fashion resale brand, with emphasis on style forecasting. In this campaign, she merged her skills in photography, fashion, creative writing, and various concentrations in public relations to create excellent content for the nonprofit.

As a result of her collegiate creative education, along with her developed skills in photography and experience in fashion, Katherine Avery has become specifically skilled for brand representation and brand growth in the fashion industry. Combining her skills in photography, copywriting, public relations, marketing, advertising, along with the successful PR campaigns she has led, Katherine Avery has become a one-stop-shop for brand representation, specifying in fashion.
